DREAM OF A LIFETIME
“DREAM OF A LIFETIME, ten years in the Upper Amazon” is a Nonfiction Travel Adventure Book, available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and ReadersMagnet Book Store, recounting my experiences while I was building an Ecological Tourist Lodge in the deep, dark jungles of the Peruvian Tropical Rainforest, 110 miles (by boat) up the Mighty Amazon River, from Iquitos Peru, in the early 1990’s. I created a crew of 96 Native Peruvians (men and women) from the nearby village of Puerto Miguel, and we worked for a year and nine months together. This is a story of the trials, tribulations, tears of joy and sorrow, winning and losing, but in the end…….calling it even. This accounting is of the first two and a half years, living in the jungle.
Very shortly, a sequel, “CHASING THE DREAM, ten years in the Upper Amazon” will be republished and available also, continuing the saga. If you do not have the time or money to have a great adventure, believe me these will suffice, and leave you satisfied.
